2020 Vision Network for East Africa
The 2020 Vision Network for East Africa was launched in 1998 to strengthen the capacity of East African countries to design appropriate and effective policies to improve food security, alleviate poverty, and promote sustainable management of natural resources. It was transferred to IFPRI's Development, Strategy and Governance Division in May 2003, and renamed the IFPRI Eastern Africa Food Policy Network. This then grew into the existing ECAPAPA-IFPRI Food Policy Research Program.
