John Okidi is a Research Fellow for the Development Strategy and Governance Division. His current research focuses on pro-poor growth and rural-urban linkages. Prior to working at IFPRI he was the Executive Director of the Economic Policy Research Centre in Kampala, Uganda. He earned his Bsc in Economics from Makerere University in Uganda, and M.A. and Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
