Josée Randriamamonjy, a citizen of Madagascar, joined the Development Strategy and Governance Division of IFPRI in 2006. Her current work focuses on the economy-wide impacts evaluation of public investment in agriculture and rural areas in Sub-Saharan Africa. Previously she worked in FCND of IFPRI where her work focused on assessing the impacts of the UNICEF nutrition interventions in Ghana, and on poverty analysis in Mozambique. She was also a consultant for the Ministry of Local Government and Housing of Zambia developing the Zambian baseline poverty mapping. Prior to her work at IFPRI, she was in charge of the Modeling Service in the Statistics Department of Madagascar. She received her M.S. in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University and her M.A. in Economic Policy Management from Auvergne University (CERDI) in France.
