Côte d'Ivoire : Field Activities
A planning workshop was organized in June in Abidjan to discuss and refine the project objectives, research hypotheses, and implementation. The workshop was attended by researchers from our collaborating institutions, CIRES and the KUL, faculty members from the University of Abidjan, researchers from WARDA as well as representatives from the several policy making institutions and from the private sector. Data gathering has started has started since August and has been completed in September 1997. Data cleaning and entry is on-going and should be completed by the end of November 1997.
