Title: Vietnam Agricultural Sector Program

Collaborators: MARD (Department of Policy, Department of Extension, Department of Animal Health).
Summary: This project is being carried out in association with ANZDEC, Ltd.; Lincoln International, New Zealand; Consulting and Research Company for Technology Transfer and Investment (CONCETTI) and Transport Engineering Design Incorporated (TEDI), Vietnam. It is conducting research intended to help the Government of Vietnam design an agricultural program to continue its move towards a market-based and diversified system. It will assess current state of the sector, the impact of previous policy, provide recommendations for future policy, and prepare draft strategies for the next 5, 10 and 15 years. Results are expected to provide an input to the Government's formation of its next agricultural plan and future rural development strategy.
