Welcome to the third edition of the Gender CG
newsletter. The newsletter is a hard-copy complement
to the Gender-CG network, an electronic network that
connects researchers working on gender and
intrahousehold issues in the areas of agriculture,
natural resource management, food security, and
nutrition. We have just celebrated the first anniversary
of the newsletter, so happy birthday to all 183 of you.
During the past 12 months, our membership has
almost doubled, to 183 people from 29 countries. This
edition reports on new topics discussed on the
electronic network since March 1995 as well as on
some topics that are "revisited." We are also fortunate
to have a report from our very own Beijing
correspondent, Agnes Quisumbing.
