Collaborative Research and Capacity Strengthening for Multi-Sector Policy Analysis in Malawi & Southern Africa

The collaborative research component of the joint project was carried out between March and November 2000. The research team comprised of:

Hans Lofgren, Research Fellow at the Trade and Macroeconomics Division, IFPRI.

Osky Sichinga, Economist at the Economics and Statistics Department, Reserve Bank of Malawi, Lilongwe.

Franklin Simtowe, Research Fellow at the Agricultural Policy Research Unit, Bunda College of Agriculture, University of Malawi, Lilongwe.

Hardwick Tchale, Research Fellow at the Agricultural Policy Research Unit, Bunda College of Agriculture, University of Malawi, Lilongwe.
